In the past, there were not a lot of different ways to get through a divorce. Everyone got divorced in pretty much the same way. Everyone went to a lawyer, filed a case in court, fought like crazy, and eventually settled or tried their case.
That’s no longer true today.
Today, there are at least four ways to get through a divorce, and one way that people think they can get through a divorce that is not exactly all it is cracked up to be. (To find out which divorce process that is, you have to watch the video!)
Negotiation, divorce mediation, litigation, and collaborative divorce are all ways to get through a divorce. Each one of these divorce processes is different. Each one of these has pros and cons, and not every divorce process is going to be right for every person, or every family.
You are unique. Your case is unique. Choosing the right divorce process for you can make the difference between just barely surviving your divorce, and getting through the divorce process with relative ease. (Of course, no divorce is easy. All divorce hurts. But, there are ways that you can get through the divorce process that are definitely less destructive and less expensive than others.)
In order to know which one of these ways to get through a divorce right for you, and for your family, watch this video. It will explain what your options are (and what your options are not!) so that you can make the choice that is right for you!
